Stanhope Surgery
Did Not Attend and Late Patients
Patients arriving more than 10 minutes late for an appointment may be seen at the end of the surgery at the doctors discretion.
Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment will not be seen and asked to re-book.
All Missed appointments will be recorded in the patient record and the patient will be informed directly (either through letter or by telephone) after the second occurrence. More than 3 instances of a patient failing to attend an appointment without cancelling first (with any practice clinician) in a 12 month period may result in removal from the practice register.
If a patient telephones with a genuine reason for arriving late for their appointment they may be seen at the discretion of the doctor.
